Dear Chelle
I have an older sibling that was/is affected by a very serious illness…..Addiction.
We have about a 20 year age difference though. So growing up all I really saw her as a pathetic existence in the form of my sister (unfortunately).
In recent years, she’s been sober (from crack by the way) for about 5 or 6 years. However, she has had rehabilitation before and had severe relapses, but this is indeed the longest she’s been sober.
I have dealt with her and the effects of her actions for most of my life. So my question to you is a 2 part one. I need to know should I continuously pursue a decent relationship with her, and if so, how? Thank u and I love your site.
