This past Friday, ALL HELL broke loose in Washington, DC between the Democrats and Republicans. The Senate Republicans blocked a $50 billion bill proposed by the Democrats that would finance several months of combat but demand the return of troops within 30 days.

The Democrat defeat came shortly (minutes) after the the Republicans were denied a proposal for a no-strings attached war in Iraq.

“We ought to get the troops the funding they need to finish the mission without restrictions and without a surrender date.” combats Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican - Kentucky.

“We’re going to continue to do the right thing for the American people by having limited accountability for the president and not a blank check.” states Senator Harry Reid - Democrat - Nevada - See Photo Above.

According to the Associated Press, the Democrats have been unsuccessful in passing any significant anti-war legislation since gaining control in January.
