Jennifer Hudson in ‘Sex and the City’ Movie

Sounds as if Ms. Jennifer Hudson may have landed another Hollywood role.

J. Hudson may be playing in the upcoming and much anticipated film ‘Sex and the City.’ She is in final negotiations to play the assistant to central character Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, according to movie industry journals the Hollywood Reporter and Daily Variety.

Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar for her role in the hit movie “Dreamgirls.” But she got her first start on “American Idol.”

Filming for the movie gets underway in New York later this month, with all of the principal stars from the television series reprising their roles.
