Chris Noth to Play Mr. Big in “Sex and the City” Film

I don’t know how many of you watched the hit HBO series “Sex and the City” but, if you did, you definitely were drawn to Carrie and Mr. Big. There was just something special but relatable about those two. Well, actor, Chris Noth, who played Mr. Big in the series will also play Mr. Big in the film version!

The Associated Press released the following:

Chris Noth, who played Sarah Jessica Parker’s love interest on HBO’s “Sex and the City,” is slated to reprise his role in a feature film spun from the long-running TV series.

Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will also reprise their roles for the romantic comedy, to be distributed by New Line Cinema in association with HBO.

“There is no need for funeral arrangements,” said Michael Patrick King, who will direct the film. “I assure you that Mr. Big is a very ‘big’ part of the ‘Sex and the City’ movie.”

“While I have not spoken to him myself, Chris Noth assures me that Mr. Big is alive and well and ready to report to the set in September,” King said in a statement Wednesday.

This is one movie that I am definitely looking forward to!

All I can say is it took them long enough…Sex and the City had a cult following, you would think that any business man would have tried to strike while the iron was hot…But I am sure there are still many loyal fans, because I am one of them…LOL

Yeah. I want to see it.
But a movie fresh after the season ended, within a year or two, would have been fantastic.
